"Slow down."
Yin Yoga AND Restorative Yoga both give us permission to slow down and rest—cultivate stillness, meditation, and deep awareness.
In Yin Yoga, the focus is taking you a little bit out of your comfort zone and actively stretching the connective tissues of the body —the tendons, ligaments, and fascia.
In Restorative Yoga, the focus is on the passive release of mind-body tension—an emphasis on true rest and learning to meet your body just as it is.
Both are great ways to relax, look inward, and find balance.
